SCOUT DAY at WEST POINT-ARMY v UMASS

DIRECTIONS FROM LARCHMONT

Take 287 West to 87 North (New York Thruway).  Take exit 16 (Harriman) off New York State Thruway. Pay toll and take immediate right off first exit. At traffic light, take left on to Route 32 South. Follow signs for Route 6/West Point. At third traffic light (just past overpass),take left on to Route 6 East. Route 6 East will ultimately meet Route 293 at top of large, climbing hill. Follow Route 293 East toward West Point. Proceed to Route 9W South in order to reach Stony Lonesome or Thayer gates. Follow signs for Route 218 to enter Washington Gate.

All scouts and scout leaders are invited to participate in a walking tour of selected monuments, statues and other historic landmarks in the central post area. The tours, hosted by Cadets, last about forty five minutes. Scout groups are automatically registered for the tour when the tickets for the Army vs. UMass game are purchased through the Army Ticket Office. The tours begin on Daly Field, 8:30am.
