| Reach for
the Skies! For the second year, we are organizing a Pack 33
rocket launch. Cub Scouts who would like to participate can obtain a
rocket and engine from the Pack (see details below) or on their own.
These rockets travel pretty far and come back via a
parachute. We will be launching
the rockets on Sunday, May 14th from 12-1:30pm in the area behind the VFW
at Flint Park. Rockets should be built before the launch. Estes rockets
and engines can be ordered from John Stackpole for
$15.00 each. You can order by emailing him at
Cubmaster, or sending a check made out to "Cub Scout Pack 33" to
John Stackpole, 39 Coolidge Street, Larchmont, NY 10538.
Please order by April 29. You can also get rockets and engines from
any hobby store, and of course can use any you built last year but didn't
launch.
